عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ”فَضْلُ عَائِشَةَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ كَفَضْلِ الثَّرِيدِ عَلَى سَائِرِ الطَّعَامِ“
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Aisha has superiority over all other women just as tharid has superiority over all other foods."
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Tharid is a type of easily digestible and blessed food which is preferred over other foods. The same is the case with Sayyidah Aisha radi Allahu anha, that she holds a lofty status among Muslim women.
