Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that when the declaration of my innocence was revealed from Allah Almighty, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) stood on the pulpit, mentioned this matter, recited the revealed verse of the Qur'an, and after descending from the pulpit, he ordered the punishment of slander to be carried out on two men and one woman.
