بَابٌ فِي وَعِيدِ مَنْ تَرَكَ الْعَصْرَ أَوْ أَخَّرَهَا عَنْ وَقْتِهَاChapter on the Warning Against Missing Asr or Delaying It from Its Time
Hadith 1143

عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((مَنْ تَرَكَ صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ مُتَعَمِّدًا حَتَّى تَفُوتَهُ فَقَدْ أُحْبِطَ عَمَلُهُ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever deliberately leaves the Asr prayer until it is missed, the deeds of such a person are rendered void.
