It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abbas bin Abdul Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I said: O Messenger of Allah! When the Quraysh meet each other, they meet with cheerful faces, but when they meet us, they meet with indifference and frowning faces. Upon hearing this, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) became extremely angry and said: By Him in Whose hand is my soul, faith cannot settle in the heart of any person until he holds sincere love for you for the sake of Allah and His Messenger’s pleasure.
