Sayyiduna Zaid bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I am leaving among you two things that will remain; one is the Book of Allah, which is a rope hanging between the heaven and the earth, and my family, who are my Ahl al-Bayt. These two will never be separated until they come to me at the Pond of Kawthar.
