عَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَتْ لَمْ يَكُنْ ثَوْبٌ أَحَبَّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنْ قَمِيصٍ
Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that among all garments, the most beloved garment to the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) was wearing the shirt (qamees).
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The shirt (qamees) is a very modest and beautiful garment; once a person puts it on, he becomes carefree. This garment is neither affected by running, nor does one feel any difficulty in performing any task while wearing it.
