Hadith 11328

It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: I would find the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) sleeping with me at the time of suhoor or in the last part of the night.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam used to stand (in prayer) during different portions of the night, and towards the very end of the night, after resting for a short while, he would perform the Fajr prayer.

Just as the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said regarding Allah’s Prophet Dawud alayhis salam: “The best night prayer is the prayer of Dawud; he would rest for half the night, then stand (in prayer) for one third of the night, then rest for the final sixth part.” In the same way, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam would also rest during the last part of the night.
