Hadith 11324

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) never ate food on a table or in small bowls, nor was fine bread ever baked for him. The narrator says, I asked Qatadah, then on what did he eat his food? He replied, on dining cloths (dastarkhwan).
