It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was seated at the place of Zawra. A vessel was brought to him in which there was not even enough water for his fingers to be submerged. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the companions to perform ablution and placed his palm in the water. Water began to flow from between his fingers and from their edges, until all the people had performed ablution. Qatadah says: I asked Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him): How many people were you? He replied: We were three hundred.
