(وَعَنْهُ مِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ بَيْنَا رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَسْلَمَ فِي غُنَيْمَةٍ لَهُ يَهُشُّ عَلَيْهَا فِي بَيْدَاءِ ذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ إِذْ عَدَا عَلَيْهِ الذِّئْبُ فَانْتَزَعَ شَاةً مِنْ غَنَمِهِ فَجَهْجَأَهُ الرَّجُلُ فَرَمَاهُ بِالْحِجَارَةِ حَتَّى اسْتَنْقَذَ مِنْهُ شَاتَهُ ثُمَّ إِنَّ الذِّئْبَ أَقْبَلَ حَتَّى أَقْعَى مُسْتَذْفِرًا بِذَنَبِهِ مُقَابِلَ الرَّجُلِ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ
(Second chain) A man from the tribe of Banu Aslam was shaking down leaves from the trees for his goats at the place of Baida in Dhu’l-Hulayfa, when suddenly a wolf attacked and took away one of the goats. But the man scolded, shouted at, and threw a stone at the wolf, and rescued his goat from it. Then the wolf sat down in front of the man, placing its tail between its legs, ... ... . Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Before the advent of the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, there is a clear mention of him in previous religious scriptures. In this regard, there is a very beautiful mention of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the narration of Sayyiduna Salman al-Farsi radi Allahu anhu; see Hadith number (۱۱۷۴۳). Also, observe the mentioned subject in Hadith number (۱۰۴۸۶).
