Hadith 11238

Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the speech of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was so clear that everyone could easily understand it, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) did not speak rapidly.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Some people, while speaking, pause so much that the listeners become afflicted with weariness and boredom. The meaning of the Prophet’s (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) not speaking rapidly is not that he would speak in such a halting manner. Rather, there was moderation in the speech of the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam): he (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) would neither pronounce words so hastily that ambiguity would arise, nor would he speak so slowly that the listeners would be left waiting for the next word.
