Hadith 112

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) also narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to a man: "Accept Islam." He said: "I find myself disliking Islam." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Accept Islam, even if you dislike it."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … When practicing Islam and Islamic rulings, one should not take into account personal likes or dislikes, apparent benefit or harm, or honor or disgrace; rather, one should begin to act upon them understanding it as the command of Allah and His Messenger.

By following the Sunnah and acting upon Islamic rulings, the inner aversion will gradually be removed, and a person will become a follower of Islam with an open heart. (Abdullah Rafiq)
