It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that after performing Tawaf, the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to the place where Zamzam water was being served and said: "Give me some to drink." They said: "People keep affecting this water; we will bring (clean) water for you from the house." But the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no need for that; give me to drink from the same place where people are drinking."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This was an example of the humility, lack of affectation, simplicity, and beautiful character of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, that he preferred for himself the very thing that common people were using, even though there were people present who could have provided pure water.
