It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said: The food of two people is enough for three, and the food of three people is enough for four. My example and the example of people is like that of a man who kindles a fire; when the fire becomes bright, moths and butterflies begin to fall into it. I also try to save you from the fire by grabbing you by your waists, but you keep slipping away and rushing into the fire. The example of the Prophets is like that of a person who built a complete and beautiful house; people walk around it and say, "We have never seen a house more beautiful than this." There is only a small deficiency in it, so I am the one who completes that deficiency.
