It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of me and the other prophets is like that of a man who lit a fire, and moths and butterflies began to fall into the fire, and he started to drive them away. Thus, I am trying to save you from the fire by grabbing you by your waists, but you slip away from my hand and rush into the fire.
