Narrated from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she says: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away, his pure wives wanted to send Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), so that they could demand their inheritance from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said to them: Do you not know that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said that we do not have heirs; whatever we leave behind is charity.
