عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ قُبِضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسِتِّينَ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away at the age of sixty-five years.

Benefits: … Imam Bayhaqi said: According to the narration of the numerous and reliable students of Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas radi Allahu anhu, the age of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sixty-three years, and their narration is in accordance with the authentic narration of this chapter, which is from Sayyidah Aisha radi Allahu anha, and is also in agreement with one of the two narrations reported from Sayyiduna Anas radi Allahu anhu, as well as the narration of Sayyiduna Muawiyah radi Allahu anhu (that the age of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was sixty-three years).
