Hadith 11064

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jarir bin Abdullah Bajali, may Allah be pleased with him, who says: A Jewish scholar in Yemen said to me, "If your companion was a true Prophet, then today he has passed away." Sayyiduna Jarir, may Allah be pleased with him, says: Indeed, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away on a Monday.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … There were numerous prophecies regarding the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam in the religious literature of the Jews and Christians, and these were proven true before them. How astonishing it is that even then these people did not accept guidance. In this context, the incident of the acceptance of faith by Sayyiduna Salman al-Farsi radi Allahu anhu is extremely instructive.
