عَنْ أَبِي صَدَقَةَ مَوْلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: كَانَ يُصَلِّي الظُّهْرَ إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَالْعَصْرَ بَيْنَ صَلَاتَيْكُمْ هَاتَيْنِ وَالْمَغْرِبَ إِذَا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ وَالْعِشَاءَ إِذَا غَابَ الشَّفَقُ وَالصُّبْحَ إِذَا طَلَعَ الْفَجْرُ إِلَى أَنْ يَنْفَسِحَ الْبَصَرُ
Mawla Anas Abu Sidqah says: I asked Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform the Zuhr prayer when the sun would decline, he would perform the Asr prayer between these two prayers, the Maghrib prayer when the sun would set, the Isha prayer after the disappearance of twilight, and the Fajr prayer from the appearance of dawn until the time when visibility became wide.
