Sayyida Umm Fadl bint Harith (may Allah be pleased with her), who was the mother of the children of Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) and the sister of Sayyida Maymunah (may Allah be pleased with her), narrates: She says, I came to serve the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during the days of his final illness. Seeing the condition of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), I began to weep. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) raised his blessed head and said: Why are you weeping? I replied: We fear your separation, O Messenger of Allah! After you, which people will we have to face? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: After me, you will be considered extremely weak.
