(Second chain) It is narrated from Kathir bin Abbas that Sayyiduna Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Abu Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) remained with the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Now the oven, that is, the battlefield, has become heated. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Call out like this: O people of Surah Al-Baqarah!

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Mentioning Surah al-Baqarah to call back those who had fled from the battlefield may be an allusion to any of the following three verses from Surah al-Baqarah:
(1) … {فَلَمَّافَصَلَطَالُوْتُبِالْجُنُوْدِقَالَاِنَّاللّٰہَمُبْتَلِیْکُمْبِنَہَرٍفَمَنْشَرِبَمِنْہُفَلَیْسَمِنِّیْوَمَنْلَّمْیَطْعَمْہُفَاِنَّہمِنِّیْٓاِلَّامَنِاغْتَرَفَغُرْفَۃًبِیَدِہٖفَشَرِبُوْامِنْہُاِلَّاقَلِیْلًامِّنْہُمْفَلَمَّاجَاوَزَہھُوَوَالَّذِیْنَاٰمَنُوْامَعَہقَالُوْالَاطَاقَۃَلَنَاالْیَوْمَبِجَالُوْتَوَجُنُوْدِہٖقَالَالَّذِیْنَیَظُنُّوْنَاَنَّہُمْمُّلٰقُوااللّٰہِکَمْمِّنْفِئَۃٍقَلِیْلَۃٍغَلَبَتْفِئَۃًکَثِیْرَۃًبِاِذْنِاللّٰہِوَاللّٰہُمَعَالصّٰبِرِیْنَ۔} … Then when Talut set out with the armies, he said, "Indeed, Allah will test you with a river. So whoever drinks from it is not of me, and whoever does not taste it is indeed of me, except for the one who takes a handful (of water) with his hand." But they drank from it, except a few of them. So when he and those who believed with him had crossed the river, they said, "Today we have no power against Jalut and his armies." Those who were certain that they would meet Allah said, "How many a small group has overcome a large group by Allah’s permission, and Allah is with the patient." (Surah al-Baqarah: 249)
(2) … {یٰبَنِیْٓاِسْرَاءِیْلَاذْکُرُوْانِعْمَتِیَالَّتِیْٓاَنْعَمْتُعَلَیْکُمْوَاَوْفُوْابِعَہْدِیْٓاُوْفِبِعَہْدِکُمْوَاِیَّایَفَارْھَبُوْنِ۔} … O Children of Israel! Remember My favor which I bestowed upon you, and fulfill My covenant, I will fulfill your covenant, and fear only Me. (Surah al-Baqarah: 40)
