Hadith 10884

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Harith bin Malik bin Barsaa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said on the day of the conquest of Makkah: (From today until the Day of Resurrection) there will be no attack upon this Makkah.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The meaning of this hadith is that it is not permissible for anyone to launch an attack against Makkah, because it is a sanctuary (haram). Whatever occurred with the sanctuary during the time of Yazid and afterwards was an act of oppression.
