Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever misses a prayer once due to intoxication, it is as if the whole world and whatever is in it was his and it was snatched away from him. And whoever abandons prayer four times due to intoxication, then it is incumbent upon Allah to make him drink from Tinat al-Khabal. Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! What is Tinat al-Khabal? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The blood and pus that flows from the people of Hell.
