بَابُ مَنْ رَوى أَنَّ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم لَمْ يُصَلُّ دَاخِلَ الْكَعْبَةِ باب مَنْ رَوَى أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى فِيهَاChapter on Those Who Narrated That the Prophet ﷺ Did Not Pray Inside the Ka‘bah, and Those Who Narrated That He ﷺ Prayed in It

عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَ عَنْ بِلَالٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى فِي الْبَيْتِ قَالَ وَكَانَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ لَمْ يُصَلِّ فِيهِ وَلَكِنْ كَبَّرَ فِي نَوَاحِيهِ
It is narrated from Amr bin Dinar that Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported from Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) performed prayer inside the House of Allah (the Ka'bah). Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) also said that Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not perform prayer inside the House of Allah, but rather proclaimed the greatness of Allah (takbeer) in all its corners.
