بَابٌ فِي وَعِيدِ مَنْ تَرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ عَمْدًا أَوْ سُكْرًاChapter on the Warning Against Intentionally Abandoning Prayer or Doing So While Intoxicated
Hadith 1086

عَنْ أُمِّ أَيْمَنَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: ((لَا تَتْرُكِ الصَّلَاةَ مُتَعَمِّدًا، فَإِنَّهُ مَنْ تَرَكَ الصَّلَاةَ فَقَدْ بَرِئَتْ مِنْهُ ذِمَّةُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ))
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Ayman (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Do not deliberately abandon the prayer, for indeed whoever abandons the prayer, Allah and His Messenger are free from responsibility towards him.
