It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that on the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah from its upper part, from the direction of Kada’, and on the occasion of ‘Umrah, he entered Makkah from the direction of Kuda’. In another narration, the words are: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah from the upper side and exited from the lower side.
