Hadith 10699

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) that on the day of Badr, among us Muslims, there was no horseman except Miqdad (may Allah be pleased with him), and except for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), sleep overcame every one of us. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying under a tree and continued to weep and supplicate before Allah Almighty until morning.
