It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her: The Jews do not envy us for anything as much as they envy us for Friday, the day which Allah has given to us and from which they have been deprived. They also envy us for our Qiblah, which Allah has given to us and from which they have been deprived, and they envy us for saying "Ameen" behind the Imam.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … For salam and amin, see hadith number (8284).
When the Ka‘bah was designated as the qiblah for the Muslim ummah instead of Bayt al-Maqdis, this caused considerable distress to the Jews, because Bayt al-Maqdis was their qiblah, and the Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) had kept it as the qiblah for sixteen or seventeen months. Therefore, the Jews began to raise objections and said: “Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) is now returning to the religion of his forefathers.” Allah Ta‘ala revealed the following verse in response to them:
{وَمَاجَعَلْنَاالْقِبْلَۃَالَّتِیْکُنْتَعَلَیْہَآاِلَّالِنَعْلَمَمَنْیَّتَّبِـــعُالرَّسُوْلَمِمَّنْیَّنْقَلِبُعَلٰیعَقِبَیْہِوَاِنْکَانَتْلَکَبِیْرَۃًاِلَّاعَلَیالَّذِیْنَھَدَیاللّٰہُ} … And We did not appoint the qiblah upon which you were before except that We might make evident who follows the Messenger from those who turn back on their heels. And indeed, it was certainly difficult except for those whom Allah guided. (Surah al-Baqarah: 143)
