بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي بَقَاءِ ثَوَابِ الْهِجْرَةِ لِمَنْ هَاجَرَ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ قَبْلَ الْفَتْحِ وَإِنْ أَقَامَ فِي غَيْرِهَا بَعْدُChapter: What has been reported regarding the continued reward of migration for those who migrated to Madinah before the conquest, even if they resided elsewhere afterward

حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْأَكْوَعِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّهُ اسْتَأْذَنَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْبَدْوِ فَأَذِنَ لَهُ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that he sought permission from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to live in the villages, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) granted him permission.
