عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ حُدَيْجٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ هَاجَرْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فَبَيْنَا نَحْنُ عِنْدَهُ طَلَعَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muawiyah bin Hudaij (may Allah be pleased with him) that we migrated during the time of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), we were sitting with him, then he ascended the pulpit.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … As long as the abode of disbelief (dar al-kufr) exists in the world, the command of migration (hijrah) and striving (jihad) will remain in effect.
