It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that when the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, arrived in Madinah Munawwarah, he stayed with a tribe in its upper part. This tribe was called Banu Amr bin Awf. Then the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, stayed there for fourteen days.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … This upper settlement was Quba, where there were a few houses of the Ansar. Here, the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam built a mosque, which became famous by the name of Masjid Quba. The Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam stayed here for fourteen days. Sayyiduna Kulthum bin Hidm radi Allahu anhu was honored with the privilege of hosting him. Then the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam set out towards Madinah.
