بَابُ تَأَمرِ كُفَّارِ قُرَيْشٍ عَلَى قَتْلِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَمْرِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لَهُ بِالْهَجْرَةِChapter: The plotting of the Quraysh disbelievers to kill the Prophet ﷺ and Allah Almighty's command for him to migrate
Hadith 10612

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ ثُمَّ أُمِرَ بِالْهِجْرَةِ وَأُنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ {وَقُلْ رَبِّ أَدْخِلْنِي مُدْخَلَ صِدْقٍ وَأَخْرِجْنِي مُخْرَجَ صِدْقٍ وَاجْعَلْ لِي مِنْ لَدُنْكَ سُلْطَانًا نَصِيرًا} [الإسراء: 80]
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in Makkah Mukarramah, then he was commanded to migrate, and this verse was revealed to him: And pray, “O my Lord! Make my entry good and make my exit good and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority.” (: Surah Bani Isra’il: 80)
