Hadith 1061

عَنْ أَبِي فَاطِمَةَ الْأَزْدِيِّ أَوِ الْأَسَدِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ لِيَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((يَا أَبَا فَاطِمَةَ! إِنْ أَرَدْتَ أَنْ تَلْقَانِي فَأَكْثِرِ السُّجُودَ))
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Fatimah Azdi or Asadi (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) said to me: O Abu Fatimah! If you intend to meet me, then perform abundant prostrations (sajdah).
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … Sayyiduna Abu Fatimah (radi Allahu anhu) had darkened his forehead and knees due to the abundance of prostrations (sujud).
