وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَالِثٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ ثَنَا هِشَامٌ الدَّسْتَوَائِيُّ قَالَ ثَنَا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ صَعْصَعَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ ((بَيْنَا أَنَا عِنْدَ الْبَيْتِ بَيْنَ النَّائِمِ وَالْيَقْظَانِ إِذْ أَقْبَلَ أَحَدُ الثَّلَاثَةِ بَيْنَ الرَّجُلَيْنِ فَأُتِيتُ بِطَسْتٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ مَلْؤُهُ حِكْمَةً وَإِيمَانًا فَشَقَّ مِنَ النَّحْرِ إِلَى مَرَاقِي الْبَطْنِ فَغُسِلَ الْقَلْبُ بِمَاءِ زَمْزَمَ ثُمَّ مُلِئَ حِكْمَةً وَإِيمَانًا ثُمَّ أُتِيتُ بِدَابَّةٍ دُونَ الْبَغْلِ وَفَوْقَ الْحِمَارِ ثُمَّ انْطَلَقْتُ مَعَ جِبْرِيلَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَأَتَيْنَا السَّمَاءَ الدُّنْيَا فَقِيلَ مَنْ هَذَا قِيلَ جِبْرِيلُ قِيلَ وَمَنْ مَعَكَ قَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ قِيلَ وَقَدْ أُرْسِلَ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ نَعَمْ قِيلَ مَرْحَبًا بِهِ وَنِعْمَ الْمَجِيءُ جَاءَ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِ مَا تَقَدَّمَ))
(Third chain) It is narrated from Sayyiduna Malik bin Sa’sa’ah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I was in a state between sleep and wakefulness in the House of Allah when a man from among three approached, and then a golden tray was brought to me, filled with wisdom and faith. Then that angel split open the part from my throat down to the lower soft part below my belly, washed my heart with the water of Zamzam, and filled it with wisdom and faith. Then a beast was brought to me, smaller than a mule and larger than a donkey. Then Jibreel (peace be upon him) set out with me, and we reached the lowest heaven. It was asked: Who is this? He said: Jibreel. It was asked: Who is with you? He said: Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him). It was asked: Has he been sent for? He said: Yes. It was said: Welcome to him, his coming is the best arrival, … … .
