It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jundub Bajali, may Allah be pleased with him, that the noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, had his finger injured and bleeding due to something, and according to one narrator, by a stone. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, addressed that finger and said: "You are but a finger that has bled, and you have faced this pain in the path of Allah."

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In the following hadith, the journey to Ta’if is mentioned.
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aisha radi Allahu anha that she asked the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam: “Has there ever come upon you a day harder than the day of Uhud?” He said: “I have indeed suffered from your people what I have suffered, and the hardest of what I suffered from them was on the day of al-‘Aqabah, when I presented myself to Ibn Abd Yalil ibn Abd Kulal, but he did not respond to what I wanted. So I departed, distressed, and I did not regain consciousness until I was at Qarn al-Tha‘alib. I raised my head and saw a cloud shading me. I looked, and in it was Jibril (Gabriel) alayhis salam. He called me and said: ‘Indeed, Allah has heard the words of your people to you and how they responded to you. He has sent to you the Angel of the Mountains so that you may command him as you wish regarding them.’ Then the Angel of the Mountains called me, greeted me with salam, and said: ‘O Muhammad! If you wish, I will cause the two mountains of Akhshabayn to fall upon them.’” But the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “No, rather I hope that Allah will bring forth from their descendants those who will worship Allah alone and not associate anything with Him.” (Sahih Bukhari: 3231, Sahih Muslim: 3352)
By Akhshabayn are meant the two mountains of Makkah: Abu Qubais and the one opposite it, Qa‘qa‘an.
Abwab Qissatu al-Isra’ wal-Mi‘raj bi-Rasulillah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam Chapters on the Story of the Isra’ and Mi‘raj of the Messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
Isra’ and Mi‘raj is a great miracle of the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. It befits the people of faith to accept all the authentic hadiths related to this miracle. This miracle occurred during the Makkan period, with the blessed body and the noble soul of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam together. By Isra’ is meant the Prophet’s sallallahu alayhi wa sallam night journey from Makkah al-Mukarramah to Bayt al-Maqdis (Jerusalem), and by Mi‘raj is meant his ascension from Bayt al-Maqdis to the higher realms. The journey from Makkah al-Mukarramah to Bayt al-Maqdis is a journey of forty days. The incident of Isra’ and Mi‘raj occurred in the fifth year of Prophethood, or on the 27th of Rajab in the tenth year of Prophethood, or on the 17th of Ramadan in the twelfth year of Prophethood, or in Muharram, or on the 17th of Rabi‘ al-Awwal in the thirteenth year of Prophethood.
Among us, on the night of the 27th of Rajab every year, the night is spent in a specific manner in relation to the incident of Isra’ and Mi‘raj. Firstly, it is not definitive that this miracle was granted on the 27th of Rajab, as is evident from the aforementioned dates. Secondly, performing any specific act in relation to this occasion falls under the category of innovation (bid‘ah), because the pure personality who received this miracle did not perform any specific act on this day. Now, the lengthy hadiths related to this incident will be mentioned.
