Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The text of this hadith is as follows: The Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “It is sufficient for you, among the women of the worlds, [to mention] Maryam bint ‘Imran, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and Asiyah, the wife of Pharaoh.” … Among the women of the worlds, these four women are sufficient for you: Maryam bint ‘Imran, Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, and Asiyah, who was the wife of Pharaoh.
How great is the status of these four noble women! It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash‘ari radi Allahu anhu that the Noble Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said: “Many men have attained perfection, but among women, none attained perfection except Maryam bint ‘Imran and Asiyah, the wife of Pharaoh. And the superiority of ‘Aishah radi Allahu anha over other women is like the superiority of tharid over all other foods.” (Sahih al-Bukhari: 4998, Sahih Muslim: 4459)
