بَابُ مَا وَرَدَ فِي فَضْلِ أُمُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ خَدَيْجَةَ بِنْتِ خُوَيْلِدِ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهَا وَهِيَ أَوَّلُ نَفْسٍ آمَنَتْ بِالنَّبِيِّ صَلَى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَصَدَّقَتُهُChapter: What has been reported regarding the virtue of the Mother of the Believers Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, may Allah be pleased with her, and that she was the first to believe in the Prophet ﷺ and affirm him

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ خَطَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي الْأَرْضِ أَرْبَعَةَ خُطُوطٍ قَالَ تَدْرُونَ مَا هَذَا فَقَالُوا اللَّهُ وَرَسُولُهُ أَعْلَمُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَفْضَلُ نِسَاءِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ خَدِيجَةُ بِنْتُ خُوَيْلِدٍ وَفَاطِمَةُ بِنْتُ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَآسِيَةُ بِنْتُ مُزَاحِمٍ امْرَأَةُ فِرْعَوْنَ وَمَرْيَمُ بِنْتُ عِمْرَانَ
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) drew four lines on the ground, then asked: Do you know about these lines? They said: Allah and His Messenger know best. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The most virtuous women of Paradise are these four: Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, Fatimah bint Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), Asiyah bint Muzahim, the wife of Pharaoh, and Maryam bint Imran.

When people were disbelieving in Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, at that time Sayyidah Khadijah believed in him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. When the arrogant were holding back from him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, then Sayyidah Khadijah affirmed him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. When people were being miserly towards him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, at that time Sayyidah Khadijah showed generosity to him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. When estrangement surrounded him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, at that time Sayyidah Khadijah showed intimacy to him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. When he sallallahu alayhi wa sallam was distressed at the first arrival of our master Jibril alayhis salam, at that time Sayyidah Khadijah comforted him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam by mentioning his noble qualities, and she took him sallallahu alayhi wa sallam to Waraqah bin Nawfal.
