Syedna Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that when Abu Talib was mentioned in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is possible that on the Day of Resurrection, Abu Talib will benefit from my intercession and he will be placed in the Fire of Hell reaching up to his ankles, from which his brain will boil.
