It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the time of the Prophet, the moon was split into two parts; one part was visible on this mountain and the other part on that mountain. The disbelievers said: Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) has cast magic upon us, but some people said: If he has cast magic upon us, he does not have enough power to cast magic upon everyone.
