It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that Jibreel (Gabriel), peace be upon him, came to the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, one day while he, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, was sitting in a state of sorrow and there was blood on him, because some people of Makkah had beaten him, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Jibreel, peace be upon him, said to him: What has happened to you? He, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, replied: These people have done this to me. Jibreel, peace be upon him, said: Do you wish that I show you a sign? He, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, replied: Yes. He (Jibreel) saw a tree beyond the valley and said to him, peace and blessings be upon him and his family: Call that tree. So he, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, called it, and it came walking and stood before him, peace and blessings be upon him and his family. Then Jibreel, peace be upon him, said: Now command it to return. So he, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, commanded it, and it returned to its place. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, said: That is sufficient for me.
