It is narrated from Salim bin Abi J'ad that Sayyiduna Uthman bin Affan (may Allah be pleased with him) called some of the companions of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), among whom was Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him), ... ... , then Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Shall I tell you about Ammar? I was walking with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in the valley of Batha, while he was holding my hand, when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by the father (Sayyiduna Yasir, may Allah be pleased with him) and mother (Sayyida Sumayyah, may Allah be pleased with her) of Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him), while they were being tortured. So the father of Sayyiduna Ammar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: O Messenger of Allah! Does a time like this also come? The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to them: Be patient. Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah! Forgive the family of Yasir, and indeed I have done so.

Brief Explanation
Benefits: … The meaning of the last sentence and the research I have done is that Allah Ta'ala accepted the supplication of the Prophet sallallahu alayhi wa sallam and forgave them. The name of Sayyiduna Ammar's noble father was Yasir, and his honorable mother was Sumayyah bint Khayyat. However painful these worldly torments were, Allah Ta'ala granted the best recompense, and in exchange for a few days of trials, made their eternal life tranquil.
