(وَمِنْ طَرِيقٍ ثَانٍ) قَالَ ثَنَا خَلَفٌ ثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ عَمْرَو بْنَ هِشَامٍ وَأُمَيَّةَ بْنَ خَلَفٍ وَزَادَ وَعُمَارَةَ بْنَ الْوَلِيدِ
(In the second chain) In this narration, the narrator additionally mentioned the names of Amr bin Hisham, Umayyah bin Khalaf, and Amarah bin Walid.

Benefits: … This narration will mostly be interpreted accordingly, because ‘Uqbah bin Abi Mu‘it was executed at the place of ‘Uraq al-Zhabiya after being taken captive, and Umayyah bin Khalaf was not thrown into the well, as is apparent from the previous narration.
