It is narrated from Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah Salami (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Who is with you on this religion?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A free man and a slave." At that time, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with them both) were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Amr bin Abasah: "Return to your people until Allah makes His Messenger strong." Sayyiduna Amr bin Abasah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: "I considered myself a quarter of Islam."
