Hadith 105

عَنْ غَاضِرَةَ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ الْفُقَيْمِيِّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي عُرْوَةُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: كُنَّا نَنْتَظِرُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَخَرَجَ رَجُلًا يَقْطُرُ رَأْسُهُ مِنْ وُضُوءٍ أَوْ غُسْلٍ فَصَلَّى فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ جَعَلَ النَّاسُ يَسْأَلُونَهُ، يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ! أَعَلَيْنَا حَرَجٌ فِي كَذَا؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ: ((إِنَّ دِينَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي يُسْرٍ)) ثَلَاثًا يَقُولُهَا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Urwah (may Allah be pleased with him), he says: We were waiting for the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), when he (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, his hair was combed and drops of water were dripping from his head due to ablution or bath. He (peace and blessings be upon him) led the prayer, and when he finished the prayer, people began to ask him, "O Messenger of Allah! Is there any harm for us in doing this?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, the religion of Allah is one of ease." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said this sentence three times.
Brief Explanation
Benefits: … In reality, ease and facilitation have been taken into consideration in all the pillars of the religion, but this fact will only be acknowledged by the person who wishes to practice Islam. As for the unfortunate one whose heart does not find attachment in prayer, how could he possibly perceive the ease of the religion of Islam? Those who are heedless of the pillars of Islam—their temperaments have become corrupted, and such misfortune and lack of blessing have arisen within their souls that they have become incapable of even assessing their own selves.
