Syeduna Ali and Syeduna Zubair (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrate that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed us and admonished with the blessings of Allah upon the previous nations and their incidents, we would recognize this from the (changed due to fear) face of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). It seemed as if he was warning his people and that the punishment would come the very next morning. And when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had a new meeting with Jibreel (peace be upon him), he would not smile until Jibreel had departed.
