Hadith 1048

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever, being in a state of ablution, walks towards the obligatory prayer, for him is the reward of a pilgrim who has donned the ihram; and whoever goes to offer the Duha (forenoon) prayer, for him is the reward of one performing ‘Umrah. And one prayer after another, as long as there is no vain act between them, is a deed that is written in ‘Illiyyin. Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Going to these mosques in the morning and evening is among the acts of jihad in the way of Allah.
