بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي فَضْلِ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ عِيسَى بْنِ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُChapter: What has been reported regarding the virtue of the Prophet of Allah Isa son of Maryam, peace be upon him
Hadith 10417

وَعَنْهُ أَيْضًا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ((إِنِّي لَأَرْجُو إِنْ طَالَ بِي عُمُرٌ أَنْ أَلْقَى عِيسَى بْنَ مَرْيَمَ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ فَإِنْ عَجِلَ لِي مَوْتٌ فَمَنْ لَقِيَهُ مِنْكُمْ فَلْيُقْرِئْهُ مِنِّي السَّلَامَ))
It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: I hope that if my life is prolonged, I will meet ‘Isa ibn Maryam, peace be upon him, and if my death comes soon, then whoever among you meets him, convey my greetings to him.
