Hadith 1041

It is also narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A person among you remains in prayer as long as he waits for the next prayer, and as long as a person (after performing the prayer) remains at his prayer place, the angels keep supplicating for mercy for him, saying: O Allah! Forgive him and have mercy on him, as long as he does not lose his ablution. A man from Hadhramaut said: Abu Hurairah! What is meant by ḥadath (i.e., losing ablution)? He replied: Indeed, Allah does not shy away from the truth; it means passing wind or breaking wind.
