Hadith 10398

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَمِعَ صَوْتَ أَبِي مُوسَى الْأَشْعَرِيِّ وَهُوَ يَقْرَأُ فَقَالَ لَقَدْ أُوتِيَ أَبُو مُوسَى مِنْ مَزَامِيرِ آلِ دَاوُدَ
It is narrated from Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) heard Sayyiduna Abu Musa Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reciting (the Qur'an), and then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Abu Musa has indeed been given the flutes of the family of Dawud."
