Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Recitation was made easy for Dawud (peace be upon him); he would order for his mount to be saddled, and before this task was completed, he would finish the recitation of the Zabur, and he would eat only from what he earned with his own hands.
